Event in 2017
6:30 - 9:30 PM. Kick off the 2016 Sawdust Days celebration with a free concert by Ma Crow & the Ladyslippers.. Take part in the Silent Auction to benefit the Batesville Rotary Club's local service projects. For audience members age 21+, Batesville's Ertel Cellars Winery will provide a wine tasting and wine available for purchase. At the Batesville Memorial Public Library, 131 North Walnut Street, Batesville, IN.
Plenty of events and activities for the whole family are planned for 2016, including Wood Craft and Other Vendors, the Batesville Memorial Public Library's Pioneer Living Hands-On Exhibit, the BHS Interact Club's Chairs For Charity Auction, live music, great food by BBQ Street and Schrank's Homemade Ice Cream, and much more!
Take an old chair, make it fancy or fanciful, and submit it for the Batesville High School Interact Club's Chairs 4 Charity Contest & Auction which will be part of the Batesville Rotary Sawdust Days event. Winning bidder gets the chair, and your chosen charity gets the $. Plus - all submitted chairs will be judged by the public and you could receive a "People's Choice" award. Contact us for details.
Watch local wood crafters demonstrate their handiwork. Learn some valuable tips on working with wood. Try your hand at making your own craft item from wood.
